Description
ETHIBOND EXCEL™ Suture, Size 2/0, with SH-2 needle, is a nonabsorbable, braided surgical suture composed of high molecular weight, long-chain polyester fibers. It is coated with a polybutylate coating to enhance smooth tissue passage and improve knot tie-down performance. The green color improves intraoperative visibility and identification, aiding precision during closure.
The SH-2 needle is a 1/2 circle taper point design made of stainless steel, intended for use in soft, delicate tissue where minimal cutting is preferred. The suture measures 36 inches in length, making it suitable for various medium-length wound closures in general and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
